Article Processing Charge (APC) and Waiver Policy

• Current phase (Vol. 1 – Vol. 4, 2026–2027): Article Processing Charge is waived in full for all accepted manuscripts, as part of JICAI's early-growth phase.
• From 2028 onward: an APC of IDR 750,000 untuk penulis Indonesia / USD 75 for international will apply upon acceptance (not upon submission).
• Fee waiver policy: Authors from low-income institutions, or who can demonstrate financial hardship, may apply for a full or partial waiver by emailing the editorial office before submission. Waiver decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief independently of the peer-review outcome and do not affect the editorial decision.
• Withdrawal charges: JICAI does not charge authors for withdrawing a manuscript prior to acceptance.
• The APC and waiver terms above must be stated on a publicly accessible page, since this is checked explicitly during DOAJ review.
