All submissions to TEKNOVIA undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and validity of the published research. The journal encourages the submission of papers that present innovative and original research, as well as those that contribute to the development of new theories, methodologies, algorithms, and techniques in the fields of information technology, computer science, and digital innovation.
TEKNOVIA is committed to promoting open access to scientific research and aims to make research accessible to a broader audience, including researchers and students in developing countries who may not have access to expensive scientific journals. The journal also seeks to foster collaboration and partnerships between researchers in the technology community and around the world, and to facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge between different scientific and technological disciplines.
Types of Published Articles
TEKNOVIA is published either as a research article or a review article.
- Research articles report original research findings in information technology, computer science, software engineering, and other related fields. The research article should include a clear research question, methodology, results, and conclusion. The article should also provide a clear and concise discussion of the research findings, their implications, and their contributions to the relevant field of study. TEKNOVIA does not accept case studies unless it is a study that has a wide impact on the community or industry. The total length of the manuscript, including references, must not exceed 10,000 words.
- Review articles comprehensively review the existing literature on a specific topic in information technology, computer science, and digital innovation. Review articles should critically analyze and synthesize the literature, identify knowledge gaps, and suggest future research directions. The format and length of review papers are more flexible than research articles. Typical reviews are less than 12,000 words, including references.
All published articles in TEKNOVIA should be based on rigorous and ethical research and adhere to the highest standards of scientific integrity. The journal encourages the submission of articles that present innovative and original research and contribute to developing new theories, methodologies, and techniques.
Publication Frequency
TEKNOVIA is published twice a year (2 issues per year), in January and July. The initial publication schedule for 2026 is as follows:
- Vol. 1 No. 1: January 2026
- Vol. 2 No. 2: July 2026
Each issue targets a minimum of 5–10 articles, consistent with the minimum article-count expectations of national accreditation bodies. The publication schedule will be reviewed annually as submission volume grows.
The journal aims to provide timely and regular publication of high-quality research in the relevant fields of study.
Language
TEKNOVIA requires that all articles be written in the English language. Clear and concise language and adherence to proper grammar and spelling are encouraged. For corresponding authors whose native language is not English, a supplemental document confirming that a qualified native English speaker or authorized organization proofread the article is required.
